Inception Cookies (what?!)

These cookies are, yes, based on the movie. The movie features a dream within a dream within a dream. Well, here's the adjoining baked good: a cookie within a cookie (within a cookie, if you count oreo filling as the third cookie). Truly: an oreo covered in chocolate chip cookie dough and baked right up. Inception cookies for the win.
These cookies are orgasmic (to quote my brother, who upon biting in said something like: "I just jizzed in my mouth"). The oreo gets nice and soft, and how could anyone dislike chocolate chip cookies?

They're huge and will probably bring me an early death. But so. Worth it.

It's also pretty messy, so get ready to plunge your hands in and wrap cookie dough around both sides of the oreo.

And also get ready for divine deliciousness. On a slightly unrelated note: what do you call a pregnant woman? Conception: a person within a person. Mind blown :)

Inception Cookies
should make two dozen
adapted from Mark Bittman's Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup canola oil2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 package oreos
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cream the butter and sugars and then add the eggs one at a time and beat until well blended.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and add to the wet mix.
Stir in the vanilla and then the chocolate chips.
Mold dough around each oreo and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-20 mins.

note: use double stuff oreos if you want to get intense.
also, you can use your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe in place of mine, but just make sure it's the kind of cookie that doesn't spread much in baking. That will make the cookies pool into a sheet of cookie with oreo mounds, which isn't half the fun :(
